Kreativni tim koji vodi ovu radionicu sastavljen je od troje umjetnika članova međunarodno afirmirane plesne Candoco Dance Company, vodit će plesnu radionicu koja će sudionicima pružiti uvid u njihovu praksu.

Ova radionica kombinirat će tehnike suvremenog plesa s kreativnim koreografskim zadacima, pozivajući sudionike na istraživanje ideja te na stvaranje vlastitog pokreta.
Idealan broj polaznika je 15, a grupa će integrirati plesače s invaliditetom i bez invaliditeta te sve ostale članove lokalne zajednice s invaliditetom kojima je želja profesionalno usavršavanje u plesu.

Candoco Dance Company vodeća je britanksa plesna skupina, koja je gostovala diljem svijeta (takodjer i na Tjednu suvremenog plesa). Skupinu čine profesionalni plesači sa i bez invaliditeta. Skupina je poznata po svojim inspirativnim edukativnim programima koje realizira i kroz redovno obrazovanje, kao i kroz partnerstva s lokalnim nevladinim organizacijama i drugim lokalnim tijelima koja se bave socijalnom i umjetničkom integracijom osoba s invaliditetom.

Sarah Blanc
Sarah is vital member of Candoco’s Associate Artist team who has a long standing relationship with the Candoco Youth Dance Companies. Sarah created Cando2’s highly successful work, 'Lay Down Your Weary Head' which was performed at a number of platforms over 2010/2011 and has most recently created a site specific work for Cando2's performance at Fresh 2012. Along with teaching, Sarah has an extensive portfolio in choreography and performance work.

Kate Marsh
Dancer / Candoco Associate Artist
Kate Marsh graduated from University of Chichester with a BA Hons (Dance) in 1996 and joined Candoco as a trainee dancer with the company delivering the company’s workshop programme alongside company dancers and founder Adam Benjamin, especially focusing on choreographic residencies nationally and internationally. From 1998-2000 Kate worked at Greenwich Dance Agency continuing her links with the company until she was offered a full time dancer contract 2000.

She performed in works by Doug Elkins, Javier De Frutos and Fin walker, and spent 4 years working for the company until she started a family in 2004. Since 2004 Kate has continued to work as one of Candoco’s Associate Artists not only delivering education and training programmes such as Moving Bodies but also working as artist mentor on our Summer Labs, choreographing participatory works and performances, performing in site specific works such as Trisha Brown’s Floor of the forest and Set and Reset/ Reset as part of the company’s repertoire.
In addition to her work with Candoco Dance Company she works as a dance teacher and choreographer.
