Alito has been teaching DanceAbility Teacher Certification courses around the world since 1996. This Course is for people who want to teach integrated groups--people with and without disabilities--in movement arts, or learn a model for facilitating communities that foster inclusive participation. The course covers clear methods and techniques for teaching, that can be applied flexibly and creatively. The DanceAbility approach allows anybody and everybody's movement to emerge, and facilitates individual and group expression.

Training Includes:

Foundations for improvising and performance-making in diverse groups of people with and without disabilities
Integrating Contact Improvisation with mixed abilities
How to plan and teach classes for all levels, and all abilities
How to lead performance-making projects, including outdoor performances
Course will be taught in English.
